“ALBISHIR”, is a Hausa Language word that means “GOOD TIDINGS”, or SOMETHING GOOD HAS HAPPEN”. While “ORCHARD” symbolises a place where fruits are cultivated for the benefit of humanity, so is our school, a “garden” for the cultivation and production of Educational and Moral Excellence. To have a good Orchard, you need a good farmer. A good farmer is one who takes proper care of his farm/crops by constant weeding, application of proper manure and fertiliser, provision of pesticides for the protection of crops against destruction by pest animals, and above all, with proper consultation of experts, better fruits are harvested, and the cycle continues. Albishir Orchard, is therefore an Integral Basic School that aims to cater for the education of children from age (3+.), for both Islamic and Western Education for the balance upbringing of our children in one entity, in the most professional way. Albishir Orchard School is a conducive, secured environment with up to date modern technology, infrastructure, qualified, motivated staff, that was born at the right time for the benefit of our children. Albishir Orchard, child-centred education curriculum intended to explore the whole totality of a child by using the Standard Curriculum in discovering, nurturing, boosting and utilising capabilities and potentials of every child, for the overall development of the community. At Albishir Orchard, we believe in the Multiple Intelligence Theory, where all Learners can learn in their own way according to their comfort zone. Albishir Orchard is a unified place where every Stake-Holder play his/her role to ensure the proper education of the child, therefore parents, teachers and the community, all play their roles accordingly for the development of our future leaders. Meaningful criticisms are always welcomed. Our office always welcomes parents and the supporting community to come in and contribute for the progress of the school.
Albishir Orchard School is founded on the principle of nurturing excellence — both educational and moral. The name “Albishir” is a Hausa word meaning “Good Tidings”, while “Orchard” represents a cultivated garden that yields fruits for the benefit of humanity. Just like a well-tended orchard thrives under the care of a dedicated farmer, we believe that children flourish when provided with the right guidance, support, and environment.
At Albishir Orchard, we offer an integrated curriculum that combines Islamic and Western education, designed to provide a balanced upbringing for children starting from age 3+. Our school is committed to delivering high-quality education in a conducive, secure, and technologically equipped environment, staffed by qualified and motivated professionals.
We adopt a child-centered approach based on the Multiple Intelligence Theory, recognizing that every learner is unique and can thrive in their own way. Our aim is to discover, nurture, and harness each child’s potential using the standard curriculum, ensuring their all-round development and contribution to the community.
Albishir Orchard is a unified learning community where parents, teachers, and stakeholders work collaboratively to support the growth and success of every child.
